Plastics Europe publishes the 2024 edition of the “Circular Economy for Plastics – A European Analysis” report.
The newly released report is a contribution towards a better understanding of the circular economy for plastics, and its evolution over the years.
It provides an overview of European plastics production, conversion into products and components, consumption, waste management. It also addresses the different recycling technologies and plastics production from non-fossil based resources, i.e. bio-based and bio-attributed and carbon captured plastics.
The report shows 2022 estimated data.
