Recycled plastics made from waste diverted during the plastics manufacturing (production and converting) processes.
Note 1: This term excludes re-utilized material, such as rework, regrind or scrap that has been generated in a given process and is capable of being reclaimed within that same process.
Note 2: The term “post-industrial recycled plastics (PIR)” is sometimes used synonymously.
