Circular Economy Act: Europe’s new competitiveness strategy – and its implications for plastics (partner event)

As the EU seeks to align climate neutrality, economic security and industrial competitiveness, the forthcoming Circular Economy Act is emerging as more than an environmental initiative. It is about a resource-security framework, an industrial strategy and a competitiveness agenda aimed at building a genuine EU-wide market for recycled and reused materials.

This event will bring together leading policymakers, industry representatives and experts to explore how the Circular Economy Act – alongside measures such as the Critical Raw Materials Act, ESPR and CBAM – could reshape Europe’s markets for both primary and secondary raw materials.

Plastics Europe’s Managing Director, Virginia Janssens, will deliver a keynote address, and Public Affairs Director David Carroll will participate in a panel discussion.
