PlasticsEurope’s fluoropolymer product group is joined by three new members for 2021

The Fluoropolymers Product Group is happy to announce three new members have joined the coalition of Europe’s leading fluoropolymers producers and experts to help drive activities in 2021, including the launch of a new website.

Part of PlasticsEurope, the Fluoropolymers Product Group’s new partnership with DuPontGujarat Fluorochemicals and Honeywell will help bolster its commitment to promoting innovation, safe use, sustainable manufacturing and stewardship across the industry for all products.

To boost visibility and provide a focal point for stakeholders interested in learning more about fluoropolymers and manufacturers, the Fluoropolymers Product Group has launched a new website to ensure critical product information is available to the public, policy stakeholders and downstream users. The website includes information around irreplaceable uses, key socioeconomic data, an introduction to the various industry applications and documentation including safe handling guidelines. To accompany the launch of the website and reach a wider audience, the Group will also be launching a LinkedIn page.

With a unique set of properties, unobtainable by other polymers, fluoropolymers are irreplaceable across many key sectors and applications. Fluoropolymers ensure safety reliability, durability and performance in numerous technologies, industrial processes and everyday products that are critical to human health, safety and the environment.
