The Circular Plastics Alliance (CPA) is an initiative under the European Strategy for Plastics.
This voluntary pledge was launched by the European Commission in December 2018 to deliver on the circular economy for plastics and substantially increase the use of recycled plastics into new products. Covering the full plastics value chain, including over 300 industry, academia and public organisations, the Alliance aims to boost the EU market for recycled plastics to 10 Mt by 2025.
