The transition to circular economy and climate neutrality has both challenges and opportunities and is multi-layered.

Renewable energy is the basis of everything & of electrification.

Chemical recycling is not a silver bullet. Both chemical recycling and mechanical recycling play their role. We need top to bottom system changes.

Europe needs to manage its own waste, high quality materials should be produced in Europe & recycled in Europe.

I am confident technology wise. We still need to do a lot in the pre-treatment of waste.

My vision and the vision of my company is that carbon neutrality is non-negotiable.

The Plastics Industry has a future in Europe.
