Frankfurt am Main, April 24, 2025 – Plastics Europe Germany, the association of plastics producers, has announced the finalists of the start-up competition “Towards Zero”. On October 13, twelve start-ups will present their solutions at K 2025 – the world’s leading plastics trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, and showcasing innovations to reduce the industry’s dependence on oil and gas. The competition sought ideas that close plastic loops, reduce emissions, and replace fossil resources in production processes.

Frankfurt am Main, 24. April 2025 – Plastics Europe Deutschland, der Verband der Kunststofferzeuger, gibt die Finalisten des Start-up-Wettbewerbs „Towards Zero“ bekannt. Am 13. Oktober präsentieren die Start-ups auf der K 2025, der Weltleitmesse für Kunststoffe in Düsseldorf, Lösungen, um die Kunststoffindustrie, unabhängiger von Erdöl und Erdgas zu machen. Gesucht wurden Ideen, die Kunststoffkreisläufe schließen, Emissionen senken und fossile Rohstoffe im Produktionsprozess ersetzen.
