De sector is goed voor een wergelegenheid van circa 1,5 miljoen banen bij meer dan 50.000 bedrijven. Tegelijkertijd staan de alarmlichten op rood: productielijnen stoppen, fabrieken sluiten en de industri\u00eble output in Europa loopt terug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De industrie heeft zich met de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/plasticseurope.org\/changingplasticsforgood\/the-plastics-transition\/\">Plastics Transition Routekaart<\/a><\/strong> al gecommitteerd aan circulaire plastics, netto-nul emissies over de levenscyclus en duurzaam gebruik van plastics. Maar circulariteit is nog steeds vooral een beleidsambitie, geen business realiteit.
