Op dinsdagochtend 19 mei organiseerde Plastics Europe Nederland een ontbijtsessie rond de publicatie van de Circulaire Economie voor Plastics; een Europese analyse<\/em>. Het rapport analyseert de meest recente (2024) data en gegevens over de transitie naar een circulaire plasticeconomie in Europa, waaronder trends in de productie, verwerking, consumptie en handel van circulair plastic en in afvalverwerking.

In de sessie onder leiding van Donatello Piras onderstreepten de panelleden Walter van het Hof<\/strong> (Trinseo), Hester Klein Lankhorst<\/strong> (Verpact), Matthijs Veerman<\/strong> (Morssinkhof) en Jan-Pedro Vis<\/strong> (Renewi) de \u2018call to action\u2019 die van het rapport uitgaat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


De Kamerleden Jantine Zwinkels<\/strong> (CDA), Dion Huidekooper <\/strong>(D66) en Alisha M\u00fcller<\/strong> (VVD) onderkenden de noodzaak om snel duidelijk te krijgen hoe circulair beleid in de praktijk voor de hele keten gaat werken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
