\u00dcber 20 Journalisten kamen nach D\u00fcsseldorf auf die Sonderschau \u201ePlastics shape the future\u201c<\/a> der K 2022<\/a>, um sich \u00fcber die neusten Daten zum Lebensweg europ\u00e4ischer Kunststoffe zu informieren. Wo, wenn nicht auf der Weltleitmesse f\u00fcr Kunststoffe mit ihren diesj\u00e4hrigen Leitthemen Klimaschutz und Kreislaufwirtschaft war das richtige Entr\u00e9e, um Fortschritte beim Rezyklateinsatz und bei alternativen Rohstoffen aufzuzeigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virginia Janssens, Managing Director bei Plastics Europe, stellte auf der Pressekonferenz heraus, dass die europ\u00e4ische Kunststoffindustrie bei der Kreislaufwirtschaft immer weiter voran k\u00e4me. Und dies zeigen auch die nackten Zahlen aus dem Bericht: Etwa 20 Prozent mehr recycelte Kunststoffe wurden 2021 in neuen Produkten verwendet als noch ein Jahr zuvor. Demnach erreichen Rezyklate in neuen Kunststofferzeugnissen mittlerweile einen Anteil von fast 10 Prozent. Allerdings wies Janssens auch darauf hin, dass der angesto\u00dfene Wandel schneller gehen m\u00fcsse. Die K-Messe b\u00f6te daf\u00fcr den richtigen Rahmen, so Janssens, tr\u00e4fe sich hier doch die gesamte Branche und Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette zum Austausch \u00fcber Kreislaufwirtschaft, Klimaschutz und Digitalisierung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
