September 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Am <em>Innovation Monday<\/em> der K 2025, 13. Oktober, steht die Innovationskraft der Kunststoffbranche im Mittelpunkt. Auf der B\u00fchne der Sonderschau <strong>\u201ePlastics Shape the Future\u201c<\/strong> (Halle 6 \/ C40) pr\u00e4sentieren sich Start-ups mit frischen Ideen, Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und -wissenschaftler werden ausgezeichnet, und ein hochkar\u00e4tiges Panel diskutiert die Rolle von Innovationen f\u00fcr die Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit der Industrie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer is-style-small\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Start-up Pitch: 12 Ideen f\u00fcr die Defossilierung der Kunststoffindustrie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Start-up Pitch am Stand von Plastics Europe in Halle 6 \/ C40, 10:40-13:40 CEST bildet den Auftakt des <em>Innovation Monday<\/em>. Zw\u00f6lf junge Unternehmen pr\u00e4sentieren, wie ihre Technologien helfen, die Scope-3-Emissionen der Kunststoffindustrie zu senken \u2013 also den Einsatz von \u00d6l und Gas entlang der Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette zu reduzieren oder zu ersetzen. Jedes Start-up hat f\u00fcnf Minuten f\u00fcr seinen Pitch und drei Minuten f\u00fcr Fragen aus dem Publikum. Moderiert wird die Session von Martin Bellof, Project Lead Ventures &amp; Partnering bei chemstars. Im Anschluss an die Sessions l\u00e4dt Plastics Europe zum Networking &amp; Speed-Dating in die RecycleBAR, den Caf\u00e9-Bereich des Messestandes, ein. Dort haben die Start-ups Gelegenheit, mit potenziellen Kunden und Venture-Capital-Verantwortlichen ins Gespr\u00e4ch zu kommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WAK Award Ceremony: Wissenschaft im Rampenlicht<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am fr\u00fchen Nachmittag werden auf der Hauptb\u00fchne der Sonderschau <em>Plastics Shape the Future<\/em> die WAK-Preise verliehen (Halle 6 \/ C40, 13:40\u201314:40 CEST). Die Auszeichnungen der Wissenschaftlichen Arbeitsgemeinschaft Kunststofftechnik (WAK) w\u00fcrdigen j\u00e4hrlich herausragende Masterarbeiten und Dissertationen in den Bereichen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Brose-Preis<\/strong>: neue Verfahren und Techniken in der Kunststoffverarbeitung<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ensinger-Preis<\/strong>: Entwicklung technischer Kunststoffe f\u00fcr innovative Anwendungen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Oechsler-Preis<\/strong>: Ans\u00e4tze zur Entwicklung und Auslegung von Kunststoffbauteilen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>R\u00f6chling-Preis<\/strong>: Prozesse und Materialfragen im Kunststoffrecycling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer is-style-small\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Preistr\u00e4gerinnen und Preistr\u00e4ger werden von einer unabh\u00e4ngigen Jury ausgew\u00e4hlt, die Nominierungen erfolgen durch Professorinnen und Professoren der Kunststofftechnik an deutschen Universit\u00e4ten. Die Preisverleihung moderiert Prof. Dr.-Ing. Elmar Moritzer (Universit\u00e4t Paderborn, KTP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Panel: &#8222;Innovation as a Driver for Transformation&#8220;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Am Nachmittag l\u00e4dt ein Panel f\u00fchrender Industrievertreter und Wissenschaftler zur Diskussion \u00fcber die Rolle von Innovationen der Kunststoffindustrie ein (Halle 6 \/ C40, 15:00\u201316:00 CEST).
