Januar 2021 f\u00fchrte die Europ\u00e4ische Union Beitr\u00e4ge auf nicht recycelte Verpackungsabf\u00e4lle aus Kunststoff als neue Einnahmequelle des EU-Haushalts 2021 bis 2027 ein. Auf die Masse der nicht recycelten Verpackungsabf\u00e4lle aus Kunststoff sind einheitlich 0,80 EUR pro Kilogramm zu zahlen. Dieser nationale Beitrag \u2013 Kunststoff-Eigenmittel bzw. auch \u201ePlastikabgabe\u201c genannt \u2013 soll neben der Funktion als Einnahmequelle auch eine Lenkungsfunktion entfalten: Mitgliedstaaten und Unternehmen sollen Verpackungsabf\u00e4lle verringern und den \u00dcbergang Europas zu einer Kreislaufwirtschaft stimulieren. \u00dcber die konkrete Umsetzung und Ausgestaltung der Abgabenpflicht entscheiden die Mitgliedstaaten selbst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In einem gemeinsamen Positionspapier formulieren der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vci.de\/startseite.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Verband der Chemischen Industrie <\/a>und PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V.
