Automobilbranche ist Europas drittgr\u00f6\u00dfter Kundenindustrie f\u00fcr Kunststoffe und verwendet rund 4,5 Millionen Tonnen Kunststoffe im Jahr, f\u00fcr Fahrzeugteile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Jahr 2022 erzeugte die europ\u00e4ische Automobilindustrie <strong>1,6 Millionen Tonnen Kunststoffabfall, von denen weniger als 19 % recycelt wurden<\/strong>. Laut unserem Bericht zur Kreislaufwirtschaft f\u00fcr Kunststoffe nutzt die Automobilbranche deutlich weniger recycelte Kunststoffe als andere Sektoren wie Landwirtschaft, Bauwesen oder Verpackungen. Das liegt unter anderem an den hohen Anforderungen an Leistung, Sicherheit und Qualit\u00e4t, die Kunststoffe im Automobilbereich erf\u00fcllen m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deshalb setzt sich Plastics Europe f\u00fcr ambitionierte Vorgaben ein, die ein besseres \u00d6kodesign von Fahrzeugen, ein effektiveres Abfallmanagement und eine verst\u00e4rkte Nutzung recycelter Materialien f\u00f6rdern.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In der Altfahrzeugrichtlinie (ELV) fordern wir beispielsweise eine Zielvorgabe von 20 % recyceltem Materialanteil, erg\u00e4nzt durch 5 % f\u00fcr zirkul\u00e4re Kunststoffe.
