We are looking for a talented Communications & Public Affairs Officer to join The Plastics Europe team in the Netherlands at this exciting time of change for our Association and our industry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable and proficient in both Dutch and English to effectively perform the responsibilities of the role.
Native or near-native level in Dutch is required for the role.

About the position
As the Communications & Public Affairs Officer you’ll play, alongside Director PlasticsEurope Netherlands, a key role in implementing in the Netherlands the pan-European strategy of the Association as defined by the PlasticsEurope Advocacy & Communication Directors. You’ll project manage our public affairs and communications activities, develop engaging content across different media types, and support with our events. The role requires the ability to understand and anticipate the media, public and political landscape in the country and across Europe. Your success will expand Plastics Europe’s visibility and reach by generating impact for our members and building an engaged audience both internally and externally.
You will report directly to the Director Plastics Europe Netherlands. You will also become a member of pan-European Plastics Europe External Affairs and Communications teams. With this role, you’ll have a unique opportunity to develop and further grow as a communications and public affairs expert.
